Our mid-level computer-on-module featuring wireless communications, the Overo Air offers 802.11g and Bluetooth connectivity, great for designs targeted at remote applications.

We recommend considering the AM3703-based Overo AirSTORM COM; The Overo Air is intended only for users who specifically require the Texas Instruments OMAP3503 applications processor in their design.

The Overo series supports Yocto Project, Ubuntu by Linaro and Angstrom software images. The Yocto Project is the principle build system for Gumstix products, while Ubuntu images are prepackaged with ROS, the Robot Operating System.

Bootable microSD cards with this image installed can be purchased as an accessory or downloaded free of charge and installed on any microSD card.
